It's been a long time since I updated my blog.. once again, haha.
So I thought that today would be the perfect time for an update, because we don't have school. (It's too cold outside, so we have a "Cold Day").
This is the 5th Cold Day. Maybe you heard it in the news, maybe not. But it was really cold here in the US. Like really, really cold. So we couldn't be outside for more than 15 minutes, otherwise we would've gotten a frost bite. So that's why we didn't have school.
I personally liked it; a lot.
Okay let's get going here. I have tons of pictures for you. I think this update will be mostly pictures, haha. And I hope that I have all the pictures in the right order :D
Okay, here we go:
My first Thanksgivin was awesome. Well, I ate too much, but that's what you do at Thanksgiving. I also met everyone from my (host)mums family for the first time :)
My advent calender from Germany. Everyone loved the things that were inside. Chocolate. *-*
Reading German Newspaper :D
It's weird, but I get really excited when I see German things, haha.
Gingerbread Houses. I was really creative :D
The "Nikolaus" came to the US this year at the 6th of December :)
They don't have the "Nikolaus", but when I told my (host)family they said that they would do it too. :)
I really enjoyed the Photo shooting. I felt like I was a real star, haha.
Wrapping Presents for my family in Germany :D
I took me 2 hours..
At a German Christmas market. With my crazy Paige :D
A lot of the people there spoke German and that really freaked me out. It was just so weird to hear people speak German, while I spoke English. At the one booth the woman started a conversation with me in German. Haha, I am really bad in German.
Nutcracker.. and don't look at the first picture :D
I had a lot of fun, but also really exhausting. It was worth it though. I am glad that I have a lot of good friends at the dance studio :)
It's my birthday.. Okay it was, haha. 17!! (On the 17th)
Last Day Of School + Christmas Sweater :D
Bowling with the family :)
P.S.: I won, haha.
Greenfield Village. And yes, it was really cold :D
I can't really explain what Greenfield Village is. Just google it, because Google knows everything :D
Meeting Santa Claus & reading Christmas Stories on Christmas Eve :)
Our Christmas tree, the German Ornament, presents & presents :D
I don't know if all the German people know this, but here in the USA Santa Claus comes on the night from the 24th to the 25th. So we opened the presents in the morning of the 25th. My lovely (host) sisters woke me up at 7.10am, because they wanted to open their presents. Well I didn't want to get up. It was waaaay to early for me :D
Oh and I can't forget that I sang at church at the Christmas Eve Service. I sang "Ihr Kinderelein Kommet". Yes, I sang in German. It was great :)
Cookies, also German :)
Everyone loved them.
Christmas decoration (not our house) and snooooow :)
I would say.. Now we are famous in Germany :D
Basketball in Louisville. Go Cards!
I think I am a basketball fan now. Today me and my (host)dad will go to another Basketballgame. But this time in Detroit :)
In front of Churchill Downs :)
A huuuuuuuge Baseball Bat
Sorry, but even I know that that is definitely not the German national Team Jersey.
Self made USA and Germany Bracelets.
USA looks like France, haha.
Those bracelets are like the "new thing" right now in the USA. They are made out of little rubber bands. You can see a package of them in the picture with all my presents. It's on the bottom left ;)
What to do during Christmas break? Puzzles :D
New Pointe Shoes :)
Firework. It's not usual to have firework on New Years Eve in America. But my (host)family is awesome, so we bought fireworks :)
Last Picture of 2013
Hello 2014!
A friend and I organized a surprise Sweet 16 Party for this wonderful girl :)
They taste even better than they look, haha.

My Jewelry class. Snowflake
Self made bracelet. Jewelry class :)
More bracelets :)
I don't know what the next thing is that we will do in that class. I just know that I love that class. It is fun, and just so different. The German people will know that this is not a class that we have in Germany.
P.S.: My other classes are also great. I have Piano, Acting, Jewelry. And then Bio & English
And now I will present...
Lucas & Tessa
He loves me, haha.
Okay, that's it.
